How to Delete Instagram Account ?
Here are the steps on how to delete your Instagram account:
- Go to the Instagram website and log in to your account.
- Click on the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- Click on the "Settings" gear icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Click on the "Account" tab.
- Scroll down and click on the "Delete Account" link.
- Enter your password and click on the "Delete Account" button.
- Instagram will ask you to confirm your decision. Click on the "Delete Account" button again.
- Instagram will delete your account and all of your data within 90 days.
Please note that you cannot recover your account once it has been deleted. If you change your mind, you will need to create a new account.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind when deleting your Instagram account:
- You can only delete one account per week.
- If you have any pending requests, such as friend requests or follow requests, they will be canceled when you delete your account.
- If you have any active subscriptions, such as to Instagram's in-app products, they will be canceled when you delete your account.
- If you have any business accounts, you will need to contact Instagram support to delete your account.
- If you are not sure whether you want to delete your Instagram account, you can temporarily deactivate it instead. To do this, follow the steps above, but instead
- of clicking on the "Delete Account" link, click on the "Deactivate Account" link. You can reactivate your account at any time by logging back in.
